2K Recruits Apex Legends Developer to Rescue Troubled Hero Shooter Project Ethos

The renowned publisher has appointed a seasoned producer from Respawn Entertainment to lead the development team at their internal studio, which is currently working on the upcoming third-person action-packed title known as this innovative game.

Brinkman assumes the role of studio head at 31st Union following the departure of previous head Michael Condrey, who was reportedly let go due to the game's disappointing unveiling last autumn.

On Wednesday, 2K president a key figure updated team members about this organizational change through an internal memo, which highlighted that early feedback sessions had indicated the necessity for a clearer vision.

Ismailer noted that the team is now overhauling Project Ethos with a renewed approach, aiming to better meet player expectations.

The news echoes a similar action taken by 2K Games in the summer, when they recruited Rod Fergusson from Blizzard to contribute to the BioShock development group.

The gamer responses from last autumn’s the game testing phase was enlightening. It affirmed the appeal of a action-packed game but indicated we still had refinements needed. It revealed the necessity for a clearer identity.

It has been motivating to see how far you’ve advanced. You embraced the criticism to consideration and overhauled the title with a refreshed direction - one that’s poised to achieve its ambition to our players.
