The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
Briton Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" the American as the combatants confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming bout.
Ex two-time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I will genuinely try to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually recognized for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather attacked ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK rival Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Still, the novice is still one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, consistently making huge paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would derail the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Difference
As both boxers participated in the customary confrontation, with their size difference on show, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the fight is really proceeding.
